Katie is a frequent speaker, who brings warmth, clarity, and evidence-based insights to organizations and audiences throughout the Midwest. She regularly lectures for doctoral students and trains organizations both inside and outside of the healthcare realm.
Katie specializes in communicating topics at the intersection of neuroscience, sensory processing, stress, trauma-responsive care, and real-world human behavior.

Presentations to organizations that can be tailored to the group’s needs, schedule, and interests. Katie uses principles of our work at CAYA to influence culture, success, and growth in purposeful, engaging presentations. Katie’s gift is taking complicated or uncomfortable topics and translating them to easily understood, applicable conversations.

Katie offers courses and classes within the CAYA clinic and also teaches part time at Western Michigan University’s Department of Occupational Therapy. These workshops and classes often focus on teaching caregivers and clinicians best practices and functional strategies towards success with less stress.
